Manual Machinist/Manual Module Tech, ,2nd or 3rd Shift (onsite) (* Relocation)

Manual Mod Tech machines production parts per process book and drawing specifications per established quality and production standards.

* Relocation will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Primary Responsibilities:

Machine production parts per process book and drawing specifications per established quality and production standards.

Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gaging

Sets up manual machines for other classifications to operate

Sets up & Operates manual machines necessary to produce module parts. For example: Lathes, grinders, jig bore, drills, radial drill, presses, saws

Operates NC equipment

Performs machinist duties

Performs ID/OD grinder duties

Performs in-process inspection as a certified operator

Performs CMM and other required inspection

May be assigned to support functions such as: Deburr, Tumble, Part Mark

Performs computer transactions

Moves parts to, from, within module

Cleans machines

General housekeeping

Provides direction to Machining Module Support Tech

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background

Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension

Experienced with hand tools and measuring equipment

Experience with basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval

Experience as a machinist

The successful candidate will be required to train on 1st shift; permanent shift will be 2nd.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating NC equipment and manual machines

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
