As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Machine Operator II on 2nd shift in our Thermal business located in Hampton, NH. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the Machine Operator II is responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes
Works from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models
Inspects machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
Performs routine maintenance and cleaning.
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
May make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming.
Works under direct supervision. Normally follows established procedures on routine work.
HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35lbs.
Must be detailed oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Must be process oriented and team player.
Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
Must be able to work 2nd shift hours.
Completion of CNC Machine Operating technical school program.
Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; frequently required to walk; and occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
