As a Personnel Security Representative you are responsible for ensuring compliance with all security directives prescribed by the Government Security Office, in support of the Raytheon Technologies Cityline Campus and affiliated sites.

Responsibilities include:

Processing security clearance actions, reinvestigation updates, initial submissions, conducting fingerprints, scheduling indoctrinations and debriefings, while maintaining internal company databases for tracking of security action information.
Frequent interaction within and outside the parent organization providing information of importance to our government customers and Raytheon Management of a sensitive nature.
You will provide advice and assistance to current Raytheon employees, as well as to projected pre-hires on all matters that pertain to Personnel Security.
Having a general knowledge of all security disciplines.
Being organized, and task oriented.
At times, your work will be performed independent of direct supervision.
You will represent the Personnel Security Department as a primary contact interacting with employees and pre-hires, while assisting them with various PERSEC actions.
You must have an understanding and knowledge of the Intelligence Community Policy Guidance and NISPOM with the ability to apply these and other Government directives and regulations to overall duties and responsibilities.

Required Skills:

Must be a US Citizen with a TS/SCI clearance with current SSBI
Commitment to excellence, creating and delivering the highest value to customers
Experience using Government clearance databases to include Scattered Castles, DISS and Access Commander database
Working knowledge of NISPOM and ICD 704 PERSEC requirements
Experience working within the IC community or government
Ability to take direction, and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Robust attention to detail is required
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong Organizational skills

Desired Skills:

Experience in working Personnel Security in support of DoD, SCI or SAP programs
Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated
Current CI Poly
Ability to enable team members, leverage differences in skills, knowledge, and experience to maximize results
Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities

Required Education:

HS Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or
AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree.
Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
