Industrial Engineer Site Lead (Onsite)

The Industrial Engineer Site Lead interfaces with senior leadership, program management, technical experts, and functional leadership to drive performance improvements.   The Site Lead conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, lead time reduction, and production record systems.  Provides direct shop floor support including capacity planning, variation analyses, productivity improvements and cell design.

Primary Responsibilities:

Utilize lean tools and methodology to drive performance improvements and minimize waste within manufacturing processes
Work cross functionally to achieve success and support site level improvements targets and macro plan milestones
Collaborate vertically and horizontally across the business to increase throughput, decrease days to manufacture and improve efficiency
Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
Supervises and leads a team

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience is preferred
Industrial Engineering experience is preferred
Experience using continuous improvement tools including LEAN, ACE, SixSigma, etc. is preferred
Object oriented coding experience e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Python, R
SAP experience is preferred
Discrete simulation modeling (FlexSim, Arena, Simeio, etc)
Experience leveraging influencing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
