The Global Supply Chain Analytics Senior Manager facilitates a variety of critical initiatives, providing comprehensive research, analysis and leadership to ensure timely and precise execution as well as alignment with the other P&W business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional teamwork skills, the ability to work well under pressure, be comfortable with managing multiple priorities at once, and have demonstrated business discernment in handling matters in a variety of broad and undefined situations. Candidates must have the ability to work independently on analytics projects from conception to completion with little direction. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, excellent project management, organizational/planning skills and flexibility are required.
Continues to build on a data foundation enabling the organization to realize strategic benefits of data & analytics, data integration from source system to database and ultimately to PW’s QlikSense platform.
Ability to develop Qlik dashboards, retrieve data from SAP’s backend systems (ODM, Hadoop).
Data gathering, data analysis and presentation supporting Policy Deployment initiatives.
Manages a variety of special projects, many of which have large scale organizational impact.
Works effectively with the Digital Technology organization; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Works effectively with customer organizations to collect data requirements, design input, build extraction routines in support of customer requirements fostering an analytics culture within GSC/Operations
Bachelor’s degree required
5 years of Qlik Sense development
5-10 years of ETL, data integration, SQL coding experience from database (Hadoop, ODM, SQL)
Familiarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, data warehouse, data lake concepts and applicability
Digital Technology, Supply Chain or Operations background preferred
Working experience in Global Supply Chain, Operations, Digital
Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders and teams
Ability to demonstrated dedicated approaches for problem-solving
Ability to achieve goals, meet deadlines, and make decisions in a dynamic environment
Forward-thinker, continuously seeking creative opportunities and deliver dynamic solutions
Highly dedicated team-player with the ability to be deeply effective independently
Proficient knowledge of SQL, build queries and code for data extraction
