Research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment, systems and networks.
Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems for commercial, industrial and domestic purposes.
Produce products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms. Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices and television systems.
Analyze equipment and conduct experimental tests to establish operating data.
Perform engineering duties including manufacturing planning and the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical apparatus to ensure that projects are completed on-time and as per the defined goals.
Determine material and equipment needs and orders supplies to ensure sufficient resources for project completion.
Develop or perform operational, maintenance or testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
Manage activities for the manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation or modification of electronic equipment, products, or systems to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare, review or maintain schedules, design documentation, or operational reports and charts to ensure that progress and performance can be tracked.
Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption. Troubleshoot electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.
Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in other equipment and devices.
Apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions.
Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.
At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrable experience using a Network Analyzer to determine VSWR and S-parameters of an RF Circuit.
Demonstrable experience using a Spectrum Analyzer to determine RF Envelope Characteristics.
Demonstrable experience using a RF Power Meter to perform accurate measurements of high peak power RF Signals.
Demonstrable experience with RF and analog simulation tools like ADS, AWR Microwave office, P-Spice to perform L Band and RF circuit analysis and develop new circuitry based on requirements.
