Associate Director, Business Development – JEDI Leader (Remote Option)

The Associate Director for JADC2 Requirements and Capabilities, reports to the Director of Business Development, JADC2 Capabilities. The position will be accountable to implement business development strategies and campaigns for one of the top 6 strategic indicatives for Collins Aerospace.  This position will at team to execute integrated campaigns for Mission Systems across all DoD JADC2 initiatives such as ABMS, Project Overmatch, Project Convergence, and Space Force National Defense Space Architecture.  This position will lead a team to accomplish all aspects of business development for the Mission Systems organization including but not limited to campaign planning, competitive analysis, contact planning, market shaping and influencing, demonstration planning, CONOPS decomposition and understanding. A strong background in the business development function with multiple experiences leading competitive business capture in new and emerging areas.  Prior experience working across organizational boundaries is desired.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

Lead the implementation of the Connected Battlespace strategic initiative.   A top 6 initiative for Collins Aerospace. 

Develop the Mission Systems wide JADC2 value propositions and capability roadmaps in conjunction with the portfolios.

Lead integrated JADC2 campaigns for Mission Systems across all DoD JADC2 initiatives such as ABMS, Project Overmatch, Project Convergence, and Space Force National Defense Space Architecture. 

Develop integrated messaging and marketing strategies to keep the customer community informed through a combination of advertising, social media, and conferences.

Responsible for Operational Analysis activities to objectively show customers the operational benefit of Collins Aerospace capabilities to the warfighter.

Identify and capture opportunities to demonstrate capabilities in large service exercises, JADC2 feeder activities, and ultimately JADC2 pathfinders across the joint services.

Prioritize demonstration resources across the set of opportunities to maximize impact.

Coordinate demonstration planning activities to ensure the operational benefit is easily understood by the customers and attendees.

Willing to travel up to 30%

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR

Advance degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR

In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Active US DoD security clearance (TS or TS/SCI preferred)
