Analyst, Materials Planning and SIOP (Hybrid)

Collins Aerospace is looking for an Analyst, Materials Planning, & SIOP to support production activities in Chula Vista, CA.  You will participate in the supply and demand planning process and be responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in production schedules systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area.  We are looking for a solution and customer focused self-starter with ability to work both independently and collaboratively with on-site and remote partners aligning physical and digital operations. May work with internal team to develop financial forecasts.

This position will work in a hybrid capacity (onsite and offsite) in Chula Vista, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support Airbus (A350 or A320neo) value stream in all aspects pertaining to Delivery Assurance, Master Scheduling and Inventory control.
Ensure 100% OTD by monitoring processes throughout value stream and communicating requirements, setting priorities and escalating issues impacting customer delivery dates.
Act as the production scheduling liaison between different sites and functions.
Monitor SAP metrics to ensure correct demand is being driven.
Support implementation of SAP changes to production requirements by creating or maintaining sales orders to replace a forecast.
Monitoring of value stream performance to inventory goals and generation of monthly performance review decks.
Support team projects to improve the business utilizing lean tools.
Identify redundant tasks in daily activities and improve to increase efficiency.
Participate in bi-yearly planning to define projects to meet business goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally with on-site and remote teams to achieve results.
Must be able to travel up to 15% domestically

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in ERP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
Ability to analyze, interpret, and understand complex data sets, systems, and processes and apply effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Production and/or Material Planning experience in manufacturing environment
Repair Station or Aviation Industry Experience
SAP Experience (PP & MM)
Intermediate to Advanced use of Microsoft Products (Excel, Visio, Project, TEAMs)
