POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Consultant, Business Development reports directly to the President, EOS Defense Systems USA (EOSDSUSA) and to the Director, Defense Business Development. The mission of this position is to represent EOS Defense Systems primarily to the USMC customer.

Job Responsibilities

The Consultant, Business Development performs a myriad of functions including:

Long-range, strategic planning and direction

Identification and prioritization of future business opportunities with the Marine Corps

Maintains familiarity and expertise in both user requirements and competitor products/capabilities

Conducts market research, analysis and feasibility studies regarding near/long term opportunities and established programs

Leads and/or participates in the crafting of position papers, white papers, and formal proposals

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or above required

Minimum of 11 years of government Business Development experience

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Marine Corps Officer at the Captain rank or above

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must possess professional experience working in or around the USMC

Be able to professionally represent EOS to the USMC customer, developing relationships and strengthening U.S. and International bonds

Attributes

A willingness to transition to a full-time position as Program Manager if EOS is awarded the GBADS business

Other Requirements

Must have current Secret Security Clearance or greater

Available to travel up to 20% of the time
