Responsibilities for a Collections Representative include but are not limited to:
Collect delinquent accounts in a timely, professional manner following all standardized procedures
Meet performance expectations for call volume, contact rates, and resolution targets
Handle inbound and outbound calls to negotiate payment arrangements and assess customer ability and willingness to pay
Determine cause of delinquency and recommend best course of action (i.e., deferral, skip tracing, credit reporting, etc.)
Accurately document account activity using internal systems (action codes, rescheduling features, etc.)
Communicate updates to branch lenders and supervisors on accounts at risk of repossession, charge-off, or foreclosure
Initiate skip traces or credit reports as needed
Process payments, account updates, and send appropriate letters per company policy
Candidates for this Collections Representative role must meet the following requirements to be considered:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime and one Saturday per month
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in collections, customer service, or sales
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay: $ 15.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM (flexible weekly schedule provided in advance)
Duration: 12-month temp-to-hire assignment

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
