The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Cloud Services Engineer to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Tampa, FL.
The opportunity is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
Responsibilities:
The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customer’s technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.
In addition:
Maintains security requirements for operation of systems.
Performs maintenance and improvements on existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies, authentication, search, etc.)
Maintains system in AWS environment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS, and IAM
Manages AWS WorkSpaces
Automate and optimize service deployments
Actively participates in technical requirements-gathering process in conjunction with assigned project managers.
Executes the design and implementation of application features.
Writes and produces detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
BA/BS + 3 years relevant experience. An AA/AS and 7+ years of experience, or 9+ years of total experience may be acceptable.
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Strong Troubleshooting skills at the Tier 1-3 level
Angular frontend framework; UI/UX design
Microservice-based backend architecture; integrating with COTS/FOSS software REST APIs
CI/CD pipeline implementation, ideally with GitLab
Desired:
Master’s degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work/military experience
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,500-$117,900
