Koniag Technology Solutions, LLC, Services, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer in Huntsville, AL to act as primary contact between our office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) The Civil Engineer will have essential multi- discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, design oriented, and customer focused.
Responsibilities:
Perform non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions.
Work closely with design originator and Project Managers
Inform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work or additional resources when needed.
Recommend design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion.
Flexible in work assignments and team assignments
Research and implement regulatory requirements and design standards.
Review drawings for completeness.
Analyze sketches, notes, and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop designs with minimal supervision.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Master’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis?in Conveyance Engineering?
At least?10?years relevant professional experience for civil works design projects
Federal design experience for USACE
Experience working in a multi-discipline environment.?
Construction support services for civil works projects?
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Knowledge of design codes & standards (International Building Code, UFC’s etc.)
Proactive attitude of taking independent initiative, exhibiting creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, while remaining dedicated to teamwork
Experience with office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams) and review software (Bluebeam)
Top Secret Security Clearance
