ATS is actively hiring a Chinese (Mandarin) Linguist with TS/SCI w/ Polygraph supporting our Defense and Homeland Security Division in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Provide gists, summaries and full translations of audio files and documents from Chinese to English.
Provide cultural/language/ethnic/contextual analysis of data translated from recorded and written materials.
Leverage HLT and/or Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools to standardize terminology and increase efficiency.
Required Education & Experience:
Must possess current TS/SCI with CI poly
College education preferred (years of experience can be substituted for education)
3-5 years of translation experience
Score an ILR 3 or higher
Pay Range: There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $75,500 to $119,250
