Overview
PITT OHIO , a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Business Summer Intern . This internship position is located at our Pittsburgh, PA Terminal.
Responsibilities
Update, remove, and create internal processes for the Vehicle Maintenance department.
Update cyber security manuals to ensure they reflect current best practices and company policies.
Build Permit Pouches for all 2025 incoming equipment.
Organize and clean up the title fire safe, ensuring everything is labeled and in order.
Collaborate with various departments to gather information and understand workflow inefficiencies.
Develop and implement process improvement plans.
Document new procedures and create training materials for staff.
Assist in the development and maintenance of process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes.
Support project management activities as needed.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Cyber Security, Operations Management or a related field.
Minimum GPA of at least 3.0 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Previous internship or project experience in process improvement or cyber security is a plus.
