Description We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and optimizing BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using tools such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX technologies.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI strategies.
Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights.
Utilize Informatica for data integration and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Work with Maps API and other tools to integrate geospatial data into BI solutions.
Create and maintain documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), to ensure clarity and alignment.
Perform data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
Optimize existing BI systems to improve performance and usability.
Provide technical support and training to business users on BI tools and solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance BI capabilities. Requirements – Proven experience with BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX technologies.
Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence tools and analytics.
Hands-on experience with Informatica for data integration and management.
Familiarity with Maps API and geospatial data integration.
Ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users and stakeholders.
