Bill Golden is staffing a Business Development Lead focused and capable of winning federal services contracts.

YOUR MISSION: LEAD efforts to identify, qualify and win new professional services business contracts with U.S. Goverment federal agencies. Primary focus is on civil and DoD agencies.

Compensation: Negotiable based upon your prior win rate and ability to articulate a strategy for CY2025 and CY2026.

This is an outward facing role defined by the following expected activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify key opportunities that are strategic to the company.
  • Prepare specific opportunities for gate review.
  • Build and manage pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Conduct customer outreach, leading customer meetings, developing focused marketing collateral to influence customers, and developing strong relationships with potential source selection candidates early in the acquisition life cycle.
  • Acquisition Strategy marketing and manipulation based on company strategy, industry trends, customer desires, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and probability of win (PWIN).
  • Capture intelligence and counterintelligence; incumbent organizational structures, competitive team composition and competition strategy.
  • Identify and cultivate teaming partnerships and business alliances.
  • Assist in recruiting and retaining key personnel and other qualified employees.
  • Support the execution of NDAs and TAs.
  • Prepare and refine competitive intelligence, customer knowledge and intimacy as seed proposal content.

Required Experience

You must have a quantifiable track record of building and maintaining a business development pipeline for opportunities from identification to successful award of competitive federal acquisition contracts.

Proven success and experience in business development, sales, or account management with U.S. Government agencies.

Education: Can you deliver contract wins? You’ve got the right education level.

Security Clearance Requirements: None.

Work Location / Schedule: Weekdays in office with flexible schedule.

Travel Requirements: As/if required. No travel expected except with U.S. Government clients located in the greater metro Washington DC area.
