Overview
Tecolote Research is seeking a highly motivated administrative professional with a minimum of two years of DoD experience in human resources/personnel support. Ideal applicants will possess the following skills and experience:
Responsibilities
The applicant will be responsible for managing the processing and submission of awards and decorations for United States Space Force military and civilian personnel.
Specific duties include maintaining and updating databases to track and coordinate personnel nominations
Proofreads awards and decorations packages
Coordinates awards nominee submissions to Command Staff
Facilitates awards board meetings
Provides weekly status reports and briefings to senior leadership
Provides semi-annual briefings regarding awards policies, directives and regulations.
Skills Required
Proficient in the use of MS office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills
Interest and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Prior experience working in an Air Force Installation and familiarity with awards and decorations is a plus
Active Secret security clearance is required
US Citizenship required
Education
High school diploma required.
