Job Description
In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology to further the development of new hardware and software.
You will add new capabilities to airborne sensing and weapons systems, and sustain customer fleets.
You will be responsible for the entire Unmanned Aircraft System, modifying and configuring aircraft and ground control stations to meet customer-specified test programs, executing ground tests, and supporting flight test activities.
This includes flightline activities such as preflight, mission monitoring for system performance, and postflight data collection.
Responsibilities
Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft and ground support equipment in support of test operations and maintenance procedures
Modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment as part of customer and company modification and test efforts.

Essential Skills
Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance (required for deployable positions).
Minimum of 4 years experience in aviation / aerospace avionics
Ability to troubleshoot at the component level.
Full knowledge and use of electronic test equipment, hand and soldering tools, voltage or amperage measuring and recording devices.
Knowledge of relevant computer applications, operations, and networking.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical orders.
Ability to work any shift and additional hours as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $74880.00 – $79040.00/yr.
General Atomics offers a comprehensive benefits package ( snapshot attached – to pull up go to “Other Related List” section)
Relocation:
2 options ( they get to choose)
Option 1 – is a concierge type service that helps them to find housing, transportation costs, etc. and they are reimbursed the costs they occur.
Option 2 – flat fee that is paid out two weeks prior to their start date.
Bonus program – discretionary bonus based on team and company’s performance
Annual merit increases – 5-8%
Opportunity for advancement
Opportunity to eventually the Deployment Team if candidates would like to travel
