We are hiring an Associate Financial Analyst based hybrid in our Telford PA office. Local candidates only
This position is intended to support the North American Medical and Safety local Management financial reporting and analysis. Duties consist of supporting the financial and accounting teams in understanding management requirements to develop and deliver timely and accurate management reporting, month end closing activities, annual budgeting, business planning and other ad-hoc financial activities.
Main Responsibilites:
Supports in the development of accurate reporting and analytics that are required by the local (NA Region) management.
Supports the development of business requirements in collaboration with partners to ensure accurate and effective business intelligence reporting and data models.
Ensures the accuracy and efficiency of various business intelligence reporting platforms and data models through continuous maintenance and competency development.
Develops/maintains/assists in creating financial reporting and presentation content for regular managerial review.
Supports the controlling team in completing regular financial forecasting and planning activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery to internal stakeholders.
Supports process improvement initiatives within the finance function and cross-functionally, providing robust ROI analysis support to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Sets deadlines and goals for day-to-day and monthly activities and clear communication takes place with all stakeholders.
Provides commentary support for financial inquiries submitted by internal stakeholders, assisting the business area’s controller in crafting accurate and timely responses.
Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
BS in Finance or Accounting or relevant business degrees
Up to 2 years of financial accounting, cost accounting or financial analysis including internships and Co-op experiences.
Experience in working within a team environment and with building cross departmental relationships.
Must have strong Excel skills.
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills problem solving, and analytical skills are required.
Must have the ability to productively engage with colleagues, superiors, and internal customers.
MS Power BI, SAP Analytics for the Cloud – preferred
Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Our US headquarters located north of Philadelphia in Telford, Pennsylvania is our US manufacturing site for our Neonatal product line supplying many global customers as well as production support for Draeger’s Safety products. This location also serves as the key site for essential US functions which includes Medical Sales and Service Management, Medical Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality and Finance.
