Job Description:
Essential Job Functions:
Collect, analyze, and report EH&S data to support decision-making and compliance efforts.
Assist in developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Support EH&S initiatives, including training and awareness campaigns.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to EH&S activities.
Participate in EH&S audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement.
Analyze incident and near-miss data to identify trends and suggest corrective actions.
Provide recommendations for improvements in EH&S practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization’s EH&S objectives are met.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Proven experience in Environment Health & Safety
Proficiencies in EHS data analysis, compliance reporting, and effective communication
A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., Hazardous Materials Manager) are a plus
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $63,600 – $118,000.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
