This position requires candidates already have an active secret clearance
Pay rate: $45/hour (per diem available for eligible candidates)
Shifts: 1st and 2nd
Duration: Open-ended long-term contract (with option to convert to direct hire)
Description:
Seeking Assembly Mechanics that will be working in a role that requires an Active Secret Clearance.
Perform fabrication, change incorporation, assembly, and rework of sheet metal and/or composite components.
Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install structural components.
Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations required to accomplish assignments.
Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc.
Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish assignments.
Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all experience and classification levels.
Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.
Work Environment:
Assembly Mechanics will be working in an aviation manufacturing environment that will be considered secret and only accessible to those with the proper credentials.
All tools are provided.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
Composite & Titanium Drilling
Composite & Sheet Metal Fabrication
Sealing – seal parts and assemblies, fillet and fay seal, apply leveling compound or scotch cast, etc.
Precision Bench Assembly – Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies such as landing gear
Sub-Assembly – Assemble parts to make sub-assemblies using templates, jigs, and fixtures
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $45.00
