Acquisition Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an acquisition management professional, you’re eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation.

As an Acquisition Analyst at Booz Allen, you’ll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on our country’s defense acquisition and contract process.

On our team, you’ll draft full RFP packages, including Statements of Work, Requests for Information, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, ISTRAP, PSTRAP, and Justification and approval waivers. You’ll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You will support Contracting Officers Representatives with post-award actions such as Technical Instructions, contract modifications, invoice tracking, and finan cia l management tracking. You’ll grow your acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From working with your team, to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, to obtaining concurrence, you’ll work to deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:

5+ years of experience supporting acquisition and program management in a DoD program office

Experience drafting pre-award acquisition documents, including full USN RFP Packages, Statements of Work, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approval ( J & A ) , waiver documentation, Statements of Work, and post-award contract management documents such as contract modifications or technical instructions and contract finan cia l tracking

Experience with program management of major ACAT programs

Experience supporting the development of programmatic and acquisition inputs to leadership briefs and for external organizations

Experience with Micro sof t 365 suite, including Micro sof t Teams, Planner, and SharePoint

Experience with Micro sof t Excel to support government contract finan cia l tracking and reporting, including using tools such as pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas

Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work collaboratively across functional areas in support of mission objectives

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience with Navy or NAVSEA Program Office

Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

PMP Certification or DAWIA PM Level II Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
