Description
The RF Payload Product Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap, and features for RF payloads to fly onboard small satellites for a variety of missions for DoD, NASA, and commercial customers. The product manager will play a key role in business development and be responsible for understanding the customer needs and opportunities and developing proposals. The product manager will act as a bridge between business, technology, and design teams to ensure a product successfully meets customer needs and achieves its market goals. This position requires an experienced and a strong understanding of current and planned space-based RF missions, as well as business development support including customer meetings and proposals.
Basic Qualifications
We’re looking for an RF Product Manager possessing the basic foundational skills such as:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering field from an accredited university.
- 12+ years direct experience in related role working with satellites & RF payloads.
- Experience in electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance or communications satellite missions.
- Strong understanding of RF payload technology such as RF System on Chip, software defined radios, transceivers, antennas, and electronically steerable arrays.
- Strong communications and presentation skills.
- Experience in proposal development and cost estimation.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Security Clearance and eligibility for Final Top Secret with SCI is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or better in a related field.
- Experience development and operations of DoD or NASA satellite payloads.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 – $227,950.00
