Overview
NV5 Geospatial Software has an opening for a Senior Accountant to join our
team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in
Broomfield, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with
high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative
team setting. This individual must demonstrate excellent customer service,
organization skills and attention to detail. This position operates under
minimal direction or supervision.

Testing, Inspection & Consulting; Infrastructure; Utility Services;
Environmental Health Sciences; Buildings & Program Management; and

Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining General Ledger to ensure accuracy of financial
transactions
Prepares Balance Sheet reconciliations
Provides data and support for the preparation of Sales, Use and Property Taxes
Monitors Travel and Expense transactions
Provides financial analysis for audits and other financial activities
Prepares monthly reporting and variance analysis
Coordinates and executes the month, quarter and year-end financial closing
cycles
Ensures compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
Assists management with various ad-hoc analyses, special projects and audits
Works effectively in a remote team environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Minimum of 4 years directly applicable experience
Microsoft Office Suite (proficient/advanced level) Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced
environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
Self-motivated and ability to work with people of all levels within the
organization.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Deltek/VantagePoint and/or SalesForce is a plus
Certifications/Licenses: CPA preferred
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $95,000- $105,000 per
year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted
stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition
to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits,
dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the
Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
