Multiple Phlebotomist Openings throughout NYC!
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience with straight needles . An externship will not be accepted in phlebotomy and the candidate must have worked in a phlebotomist or blood drawing role for at least 12 months if not more. The candidate should be reliable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform phlebotomy, including blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
Conduct paps, put together paps, perform biopsies, and administer swabs (training provided for these tasks).
Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
Clearly and courteously explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collections to patients.
Demonstrate techniques using straight needles.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by the test order.
Ensure all test requisitions or computer labels match the script for 100% accuracy.
Package specimens for transport.
Store specimen samples at the required temperature, place samples in the appropriate collection container/tube, accurately label, and follow procedures necessary for transport to maintain the integrity of the specimen.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency in specimen collection, phlebotomy, patient care, venipuncture, and blood draws.
Phlebotomy certification ideal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

FT Phlebotomist Queens- 9020 Elmhurst Avenue, Jackson Heights, M-F, 8am-4pm, rotating Saturday, 8am-3pm (Bilingual Spanish required) – OPEN
FT Float Phlebotomist – Queens/Long Island
FT Mobile Phlebotomist- Bronx/ Manhattan, M-F 8am-4:30pm (car required)
FT Mobile Phlebotomist- Queens – M-F 7am-7pm with possible Saturday rotation-
FT Phlebotomist – Sunnyside Queens, M-F 7:45am-5:45pm, no weekends/no language requirement
FT Phlebotomist- Brooklyn, M-F 7:45am-5:45pm, no weekends/no language requirement
FT Phlebotomist- Harlem, M-F 7:45am-5:45pm, no weekends/no language requirement
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $23.00
