Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Pasadena team for the Summer 2025 term! In this role you will get to perform a variety of tasks on electrical engineering design for wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance systems..
What You’ll Be Doing:
?Developing drawings for electrical systems (power, controls, communications,) using CADD;
Performing electrical calculations using systems analyses software (lighting, load, voltage drop, etc.);
Assisting in the development of electrical distribution design plans and single line diagrams;
Reviewing shop drawings and assist with general construction services.
Utilizing a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
Utilizing technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
Becoming familiar with various standards and codes, such as ANSI, NFPA, and California Electrical Code.
Compiling data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation, and
Previous?experience working in a corporate engineering environment

Salary Range:
$21.44 – $37.55
