Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer III to embed within USSOCOM HQ in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will support PEO-TIS, specifically doing work with several SIGINT PED programs/projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to :

Develop and review test plans and test reports for Signals Intelligence and SIGINT PED equipment for Special Operations Forces

Evaluate new technology in support of program requirements documents, research & development programs, and Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) projects

Acquire and draft documentation and test data in support of Fielding & Deployment Release (F&DR) processes for equipment fielded for multi-domain, multi-platform systems

Plan and execute field experimentation of developmental and fielded equipment to validate technology readiness, verify advertised capabilities, and demonstrate mission concepts

Support developmental projects through program of record transition (TRL 7+) and interface with developer teams to support project management

Maintain records of developmental projects, system testing, R&D funding requirements, and SOF mission concepts to support business processes and institutional knowledge within the Integrated Sensor Systems program

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of Systems Engineering industry principles and practices

Knowledge of SOF C5ISR systems, organization, and methodologies

The minimum years of related experience required: 10

Education:

The minimum level of education required is: Bachelor’s Degree

Clearance:

Must hold an active DoD Top Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of USSOCOM SIGINT PED programs/projects

The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG’s total compensation package for employees.
