Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Utica, NY . Competitive Salary:
$105,000 – $120,000 per year
Compensation will be based on experience, education, and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with management and maintaining quality care standards
Lead staff education and serve as the Infection Control Officer
Support compliance initiatives and foster clear communication among the nursing team
Address the medical needs of residents with a holistic approach
Coordinate the overall planning and execution of nursing services
Maintain a thorough understanding of nursing theory and best practices
Ensure accurate, timely completion of medical records
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff
Be on-call and adaptable to meet unpredictable healthcare needs
Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to support the team and residents
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN license (required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in long-term care settings
Prior experience training clinical staff
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
