Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain/logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

As lead Subject Matter Expert (SME), establishes definitions, evaluates operational requirements, and provides technical requirements to meet approved customer operational requirements for new equipment and techniques to address potential new signals in connection with radar, electronic counter-measurers (ECM), and communication signals and analyses and documentation.

As SME, establishes definitions of new equipment, techniques or potential new signals in connection with instrumentation and communication signals, and analyses and documentation of these in connection with instrumentation and communication signals.

Provides guidance and direction to TROJAN Support team in overall conduct of project(s). Oversees the development, deployment, redeployment of TROJAN communications systems.

Provides analytical and operational support for unique, one- of- a-kind, tactical, and strategic mission communications systems. Supports a range of analytical products and functions including operational scenarios, development of deployment scenarios, site assessments, vulnerability assessments, concepts of operation, and feasibility assessments.

Through analysis of complex system integration requirements, identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats. Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats.

Prepares detailed studies, reports, and briefings.

Develop documentation to support objectives in support of external agencies and INSCOM Commanders.

Translate analytical results into effective briefing(s).

Brief senior officials and counterparts from other organizations.

Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical communications assets. Develop briefing reports that depict a clear assessment of each systems availability.

Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems.

Supports TROJAN communications systems on site whenever and wherever deployed.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major or concentration in Business, History, Political Science, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or twelve (12) years equivalent technical experience with TROJAN communications systems.

Experience:

Experience working at higher staff levels; preferably Division level staff or equivalent.

Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.

Ability to research, analyze and recommend solutions to nonstandard problems.

Thorough knowledge of TROJAN system principles, concepts, methodology, and understanding of how it supports military operations.

Knowledge of emerging Intelligence products including wireless and cellular communications.

Ability to effectively communicate, interface and represent the organization with senior officials and counterparts from other organizations.

Knowledgeable of methods of exploiting foreign military communications and non-communications.

Knowledge of tactical and strategic TROJAN equipped organizations, missions, and functions.

Command of fluent English, including the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Skilled briefer.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.

Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
